You can open an image file from any folder. Selecting "Open" from the File menu or clicking the Open icon on the toolbar will open a file selector window. ClearBoard supports the following image formats: GIF, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. The most popular format for digital camera images is JPEG (file extension JPG). Use the file selector dialog to find the image file you want to open and then Just select the image file and click OK.
Once an image is loaded, ClearBoard tries to identify the borders of the board (whiteboard, greenboard or bloackboard) in your image. It marks the board boundaries with a large red square. In most cases, ClearBoard does this correctly. If ClearBoard cannot identify the boundaries or identify them wrongly, correctly, you can select them yourselfadjust the borders. There are four rectangles, each marking a corner of a board. You can select one of them by clicking on it. Once selected, the rectangle becomes filled. You can then drag the rectangle to the correct place on the image.
