Tips on taking photos of a board

ClearBoard can process a wide range of photos except those with bad focusing, reflections, and extreme over-exposure or under exposure.

  1. Focusing

Focusing has the largest influence on the final result of procession by ClearBoard. Therefore, it is important to focus your camera correctly. Please consult your camera manual for details. We also highly recommend you use the highest resolution of your camera.

  2. Lighting

Flash is not really needed unless the room is very dark. If a photo appears to be "washed-out", it is a good idea to turn your flash off. Natural lighting is the best even the board may appear dark.

  3. Camera position

When taking a photo of a white board, try taking it from a small angle away from directly facing the white board. This can avoid reflection of flash. A large angle is not recommended because a camera may not focus correctly across the whole board.
